About
Javia started her career at the age of 11 when she entered the theater program at her local middle school. She excelled in screenwriting and won first place for "Best Dramatic Monologue" at the State MS Theater Competition. She went on to play the "Red Queen" in Alice in Wonderland and the muse "Calliope" in The Odyssey. In high school, she continued her studies and became a member of the National Thespian Society. Seeking higher education, she graduated Cum Laude with a double major in Theater Performance and Psychology at Winthrop University. Notable roles include "Lady in Blue" in Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls and
"Stuff" in Branden Jacobs Jenkins Everybody.
In 2021 she began researching a career in film and TV. Within her first 6 months she gained a lead role in an indie feature film, a short film, and a commercial. She didn't stop there and continued gaining on-set experience while starting a new job as an acting instructor at Acting Out Studio. Currently, she is diving head first into her career by and focusing on establishing a name for herself in the southeast market.
